What does a tree surgeon do?

Fancy a share?

It’s a bit of a misnomer to call them a surgeon as they are not really in the business of cutting trees open and having a look inside unless they really, really have to. To become a tree surgeon, or an arborist to give them their fancy name, you have to be skilled with a chainsaw, like heights and know how to use a pulley. There should also be a love of the cherry picker. If you’d like to get the services of a Tree Surgeon Bournemouth way then do yourself a favour and click the link.

A tree surgeon likes to climb trees and when they do they are looking for a variety of issues and potential problems. The main thing they look for is if the tree is ill and if it needs a bit of trim in the branch department. One of the most dangerous parts of a tree is when heavy snow or a strong wind could possibly dislodge a branch. If it were to hit someone there could be serious if not fatal consequences and injury.

The real surgery part comes from when the surgeon identifies that a tree could be with a bit of support. They might well find that they are proving bolts and support cables to make sure the old giant doesn’t come down.
