Natural and sustainable

According to Country Living, one trend that seems to be here to stay is natural decorations, made with real branches, pinecones and foliage from outside. Placing foliage around the windows in garlands will bring the outside in and give a wonderful fairytale feel to your windows Worcester.

If you have a garden and grow berries or evergreen foliage like fir and holly, it can also be a very cost-effective way to decorate.

Paper or felt garlands

Continuing the trend for sustainable and ethical decorating, paper and felt gardens were among some of the most in-demand Christmas decorations this year, according to e-commerce site Etsy. Garlands look beautiful draped across windows and are also lightweight and therefore unlikely to need any special apparatus to hold them up.

Wreaths

Wreaths are a Christmas classic. While many choose to hang wreaths on doors, there are some disadvantages to doing so, including slamming doors and lots of traffic that could potentially damage them. This makes windows an ideal place to hang wreaths instead of, or possibly in addition to, the door. Because of their shape, and depending on the materials chosen, wreaths won’t block out light.
